Rehab Module: Posture Program
Posture is about more than just looking “proper”; it is the foundation for performance and efficient running form.
When it comes to posture there is no ideal position we are looking to achieve. Everyone is built a bit different therefore your resting position may look different from someone else's. What is important is that you have the ability to move in and out of different positions or postures. Often people will lose this due to injury, prolonged periods of sitting, or poor daily habits and movement mechanics. Over time this can lead to muscle imbalances and inefficient movement, which can lead to injury or strain.
This program will address the following:
Improve mobility and stabilization patterns of spine and shoulders
Correct common muscular imbalances in the shoulders and upper back
Address postural positioning of the neck, shoulders, and trunk
Improve breathing mechanics
